At risk, $535k:
| Deal | Owner | Amount | Why | Next step |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Meridian | Priya | $180k | Champion left | Exec intro to the new VP Ops before Friday |
| Halcyon Freight | Marcus | $140k | Security review stalled 3 weeks | SE joins the security call Tuesday |
| Brightwater Health | Marcus | $120k | Legal redlines open, close date slipped twice | Legal call Wednesday |
| Ostrava Labs | Dana | $95k | Asking for 25% off | Leadership decides on the discount by Thursday |
Wins this week, $112k: Kestrel Analytics $64k (Priya), Ridgeline Logistics $48k (Marcus). Won so far in Q3: $820k.
Forecast: quota $1.5M, won $820k, commit $1.41M, best case $2.06M.
Asks: approve a 25% discount for Ostrava Labs; SE coverage for Halcyon Freight; exec intro to Meridian's new VP Ops.
Step 2: Say who it's for and how you'll know it works
Here you write the opening of your prompt, saying what you're building and who it's for, plus a short checklist. Both field names come back in Step 5, and you'll use the checklist in Step 6 to test what the AI builds.
| Too vague | Clear |
|---|---|
| Make this deck look better. | Turn the attached Northline pipeline deck into one interactive web page for Priya, Marcus, and the VP of Sales. |
The clear one names what to make and who opens it. It's also the first sentence of the prompt you saw on page one.
For the checklist, write lines anyone could test in a minute:
| Can't check | Can check |
|---|---|
| Looks modern | Opens with a double-click, from any folder |
| Easy to use | Clicking a rep shows only that rep's deals |
| Has all the info | Headline numbers match the deck: $2.4M open, $535k at risk |
| Feels finished | Wrong looks like: the slides restyled in order, with nothing to click |
The last line matters most. Without a "wrong looks like" line, any good-looking page passes.
Fill in all three fields for Northline, or for a weekly deck of your own.
