Asks: approve a 25% discount for Ostrava Labs; SE coverage for Halcyon Freight; exec intro to Meridian's new VP Ops.

Step 6: Build it

Now the AI builds the page. You attach the deck, paste the prompt, and check what comes back against your checklist.

1. Attach the deck. Open ChatGPT, Claude, or a similar tool and attach the Northline deck (or your own). If it won't take the PowerPoint file, attach the PDF version instead.

2. Paste the prompt. Use the Northline prompt below, or yours from Step 5.

Northline prompt

Turn the attached Northline pipeline deck into one interactive web page for Priya, Marcus, and the VP of Sales. Use only the numbers in the deck. Put four headline cards across the top (open pipeline, commit vs quota, at risk, won this week), then a forecast vs quota chart with a slider for how many best-case deals close, pipeline by stage bars, a donut by rep, and a sortable table of every open deal with the at-risk rows highlighted and their risk note shown. Let me filter by rep, stage, and at risk only, and click any deal to see its details. Make it dark and sleek. Give it to me as one file that opens when someone double-clicks it, even offline.

3. Save the file. Download what the AI gives you. If it shows you a wall of text instead of a file, reply: "Give me that as a downloadable .html file."

4. Move it and open it. Copy the file to a different folder, like your desktop, and double-click it there. If it only works in the original folder, it depends on something your team won't have.

5. Check it. Go down your checklist from Step 2, then compare the four headline cards to the deck: $2.4M, $1.41M of $1.5M, $535k, and $112k. Click a rep, try the slider, and click Meridian.

6. Fix one thing at a time. If something's off, send one follow-up that names the exact problem and where the right answer is.

Vague follow-upSpecific follow-up
The numbers are wrong, fix it.The at-risk card says $560k. Slide 3 says $535k across 4 deals. Fix that card and keep everything else the same.

The vague one makes the AI guess what's wrong, and it can change parts that were already right.

Optional: open the hood (not graded)

The file is a web page with everything packed inside it: the layout, the colors, the charts drawn as shapes, the list of 38 deals, and the instructions that make the filters, slider, and details panel work. Nothing else gets fetched, which is why it opens offline. Open it in a text editor and you'll see all of that written out. You don't need to read it.
