One webinar, five clips: long recordings into short ones — step 2 of 9

The prompt, and the eight moments it found

Fieldnote pasted the transcript into its AI assistant with this one paragraph:

Here is the timestamped transcript of Fieldnote's 48-minute fall tasting webinar with our head roaster, Marta Lind. Find eight moments we could post as short vertical clips for the fall tier launch. Each clip has to make sense to someone who never saw the webinar, open on a line that makes a coffee drinker keep watching, and run 20 to 60 seconds. For each one, give the start and end time, the exact opening line, one sentence on why it works, and a flag for anything that needs checking: prices, numbers, health claims, and any viewer's name read aloud. Score each one from 1 to 10 for how likely people are to keep watching. Quote Marta exactly and never reword what anyone said.

The prompt does three jobs. It states the rules a clip has to meet, it asks for exact words so you can check them against the recording, and it asks the AI to flag risky lines instead of quietly fixing them.

Here's what came back:

The score column is the AI's guess at how long people will watch. It tells you nothing about whether a clip is true, fits the slot, or makes sense on its own, and the two highest scores both have problems you'll find in the next steps. Run every clip through the checks yourself and use the score to break ties.

The AI got you from 48 minutes to eight candidates in under a minute. Scrubbing the recording by hand would have taken most of an afternoon. That time saved is the reason to use it, and the checks are where your judgment comes in.
