Joins and label windows without leakage

A join connects tables. A label window defines what future outcome you are trying to predict. Together they can make or ruin an ML dataset.

If the model gets events from after the prediction time as features, it is no longer predicting. It is peeking. A point-in-time feature query keeps past behavior on the feature side and future outcomes on the label side.
